Thermostable heat-insulating composite materials based on hollow microspheres and solid phosphate binders: development and research

Thermostable heat-insulating composite materials based on solid magnesium phosphate and calcium binders, fly-ash glass hollow microspheres have been developed proposed. Thermal phase transformations studied as well strength characteristics of the initial composites products their thermal treatment up to 1000 °C determined. It is shown that prepared are thermally stable in temperature range 20 –1000 °С, a density 0.4 – 0.6 g/cm3 , conductivity 0.11– 0.19 W/(m ⋅ K) show sufficiently high properties (compressive 1.4 –3.2 MPa).
